Information Literacy

Information Literacy sessions are primarily held in Semester 1 of the new academic year. Incoming students are shown how to access the library's print and electronic resources via UWIlinC and the electronic databases. Students are introduced to the research process and taught the fundamentals of copyright, plagiarism and APA Style of referencing. Sessions are scheduled by programme but students and faculty are welcome to request information literacy sessions as the need arises.
